I’ve been working as a creative editor for over 18 years, half of which has been as a freelancer. I started in a London-based film marketing company where I edited hundreds of TV campaigns and trailers for major films such as 'WALL•E', 'Up' (Disney), 'The Hunger Games' (Lionsgate) and 'Ted' (Universal). Since becoming a freelancer I have worked on a wide range of content, including a children’s reality TV series for Nickelodeon, promos for the games company Square Enix, creative online pieces for brands such as Nike, EE and Disney, and a 30-minute guide to Las Vegas for Virgin Atlantic.
I provided additional editing for 'Next Goal Wins', the critically acclaimed, feature-length documentary following the fortunes of American Samoa, the lowest ranking national football team in the world. It was released in UK cinemas in May 2014 and won BIFA's Best British Documentary 2014. Most recently I was involved in a huge European campaign for the game 'Final Fantasy XV', and edited the opening titles to Channel 5’s kid’s show Milkshake!
I still get great joy from editing after all these years. For me it’s the most exciting part of any production; when the story takes shape and the film comes alive.
